The Need for Speed: Singapore F1 Grand Prix 2016 (16-18 Sep 2016)

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines! Come September 2016, Singapore will play host to the best F1 racers in the world for the Singapore Grand Prix. This iconic race has certainly been one of the signature events that have placed Singapore at the top of the must-visit list for many a tourist.

The Formula One edition of the Singapore Grand Prix came to be when Singapore Tourism Board Singapore GP Pte Ltd and Bernie Ecclestone agreed upon an initial five-year deal, with the first race taking place in 2008. This highly anticipated event on the F1 calendar has since been renewed till 2017.

One of the reasons for Singapore to be selected as the backdrop for an event of this scale is its impeccable reputation as a global financial hub.
